Feathered Fiasco Unleashed - Crow-Raven Rivalry Divides 4EverMore!

An Immortal Gazette Exclusive—Feathers Fly, Rivalries Soar!

When it comes to drama in 4EverMore, we’ve seen it all. From enchanted clocks telling jokes to pixies wreaking havoc, there’s never a dull moment. But even we weren’t prepared for the feathered fiasco that divided the realm. Enter: the great Crow-Raven rivalry.

The trouble started in The City of Shadows, where a long-standing and highly debated territorial feud between crows and ravens had simmered under the surface for centuries. For those who’ve never been privy to the drama of avian rivalries (lucky you), here’s the gist: crows are sly, crafty, and known for their trickery, while ravens are a bit more brooding, mysterious, and ominously intelligent.

Sonia Bloodthorn, Queen of Shadows, had always been intrigued by the ancient conflict. She even kept a crow as a personal pet, and she swore the bird had more attitude than some of the immortals she knew. However, lately, things had started to escalate.

It began innocently enough with a few crows and ravens squawking at each other near a gemstone fountain. No one paid much attention—until the first feathered incident happened.

A raven, clearly offended by a crow’s sarcastic caw, swooped down and snatched the crow’s prized obsidian feather, the crow's symbol of cunning. The crow retaliated immediately, summoning a swarm of fellow crows to chase down the raven.

By morning, the entire City of Shadows was flooded with flapping wings, shrill calls, and feathers flying in all directions. Some of the most powerful immortals—witches, dragons, and Day Walkers—watched in disbelief as the birds tore through the marketplace. One particularly clever crow even managed to send an enchanted black pearl tumbling into a stall of priceless magical trinkets, sending sparks and chaos everywhere.

But things didn’t stay confined to the City of Shadows for long. Soon, every corner of 4EverMore was embroiled in the feathery madness. In Westbrook, the witches—led by Seraphina Nightshade—found themselves ducking under flying feathers, their spells deflected by the constant aerial traffic.

“What in the name of the moon is going on here?” Seraphina grumbled, as she shielded herself with a conjured windstorm. “I swear, they’re worse than the pixies. At least the pixies had an actual reason to be here.

Meanwhile, in Eclipsora, Alice—the Mad Queen of Nonsense herself—couldn’t help but find some amusement in it all. She perched herself in a high tower with a cup of mysteriously bubbling tea, watching the chaos unfold below her. Her usual sarcasm was on full display.

Look at that,” Alice observed dryly, eyes sparkling with wicked amusement. “*It’s like Game of Thrones, but with more feathers and less honor.”” She took another sip of tea. “Honestly, what did they think would happen? Give an immortal crow a shiny feather, and they’ll think they own the skies.

And as much as it pained Loki, the god of mischief himself, he couldn’t help but be drawn into the absurdity. “They’ve gone completely mad,” he muttered to Alice, watching the chaotic display. “Just like their petty games.

But Loki’s real concern? He wasn’t sure which bird was going to come after him next. Crows were known for their ability to manipulate situations, and ravens—well, they had that whole “ancient wisdom” thing going for them. Which bird was going to outwit the trickster god himself?

In the Red City, Beauty watched the spectacle with a curious gaze. “I suppose this is one of those moments when we just… let them work it out on their own,” she remarked. “But I don’t know how long we can avoid getting dragged into this.

As the battle between the crows and ravens raged, the immortals in 4EverMore—at least the non-bird-related immortals—tried their best to ignore the madness. Yet, it became impossible to avoid when the birds began to interrupt their every move.

The Witches of Moonvale, always the first to tackle a crisis with their trademark flair, decided they’d had enough. Under the direction of their Queen, Morgana Nightshade, they conjured a grand spell to create a peaceful truce between the birds—if only to save their precious magical shops. The spell would require an artifact—something rare enough to pull the crows and ravens into a shared interest.

Enter the crow-raven “peace offering.”

A star-shaped amulet—crafted from the gems of the deepest shadows—was proposed as the prize to end the rivalry. The artifact was said to be the only thing capable of uniting the divided feathered factions. But, of course, the problem wasn’t just about the artifact—it was about the egos of the birds. Could it truly work, or was it another ridiculous piece of 4EverMore chaos?

Sonia Bloodthorn was skeptical. "I know one thing’s for sure," she said, eyes gleaming. "*When you throw a crow and a raven into a room together, they're not going to stop fighting over who’s the best." She snapped her fingers, and her loyal crows flew to her side. "But we’ll see what happens when they realize that even immortals are getting annoyed by their nonsense."

Eventually, after a series of diplomatic missteps, sarcastic remarks, and some real magical heavy-handedness, the crows and ravens were forced to sign a temporary truce, under the threat of an endless feather storm.

The peace—though shaky—held for the moment, and in the end, the entire drama was dismissed as yet another bizarre chapter in the never-ending chaos of 4EverMore.

Well,” Alice drawled, giving Loki a sideways glance, “At least it wasn’t a complete waste of time. I did get some fantastic material for my next tea party.

As for the rest of 4EverMore? The birds may have calmed, but the immortal realm was left questioning: What would be the next absurdity to shake the foundations of their timeless existence?
